Rush Christian Medical Association

Welcome to the Rush CMA Website!

Strengthening and encouraging one another - Acts 14:22

Welcome to the Rush CMA homepage!  We are an informal, multi-denominational network of Christian medical and allied healthcare students at Rush University who seek to live out our faith in our professions.  We join together for bible study and worship.  We help students connect with local churches and fellowships.  We invite local clinicians to speak about their faith and medical practice.  We also join Christian students from other Chicago medical schools in celebrating Thanksgiving and participating in CMDA health fairs held throughout the year.  Learn more on this website!

Rush CMA Christian Book Collection

Did you know that Rush CMA has its own collection of Christian books, intended to be shared among all Christian medical students at Rush?  Yes, and the pictures of the front covers of all these books are all viewable on the CMA photo gallery of rmstudents.com.  Please feel free to contact us at rush_cma@rush.edu for directions about borrowing any of these titles.

Attached are catalogs in MS Word format describing each title.  You can browse through them on the photo gallery as well.

“I often make the mistake of seeing people (and their interruptions) as the problem with my job.  Dr. Jesus never forgot that people and their concerns were the purpose of his life.”—Dr. David Stevens in Jesus M.D.  Read More »
